What's that ADS????!!!

No those are not ads, I wish, that would mean I might be making a buck on my well honed creative skills. What you see is a link to the 3nter game site for which I write news items and game reviews, in Dutch. Linking to the page seemed like a good idea.

At the bottom of the page there's the t-shirt shop with my designs, which you need to check out and buy stuff from, otherwise I'll never be rich and my plans for world domination will fail. BTW I also take assignments for designs, I am cheap... not free, but cheap.

Now you haven't heard from me for a while because of me being sick and spending my time on either the toilet or sleeping on the couch, but I intend to pick up the pace again as soon as possible.

I can't wait, serious character flaw....

I have a strange character flaw that I know can sometimes annoy the crap out of the people around me. I can’t wait. Now don’t get me wrong in many ways I am very patient. Without problem I can wait for hours for someone when I have an appointment or when I am for instance waiting till my wife is finished at work when I pick her up. But it’s the waiting for something to arrive, like a package for instance that gets to me. I have actually been known to wait outside and watch for the delivery truck three days in a row.

Even worse is waiting for something that doesn’t exist yet. For instance a movie to come out, or as is most often the case a computer game. Right now I am waiting for The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. For a very long time the release date of 11-11-11 has been known. Ever since the date was released I have been waiting for that date to arrive and now the date is coming closer I have to watch myself so I don’t start growling impatiently. I understand this is a very serious condition, so I believe it to be in the best interest of my health and the general well being of earths population that we either supply me with every product ahead of release date or simply stop advertizing products that aren’t available yet.

Games, not for kids…

Okay, if you have a kid of thirteen years or younger… and he or she…probably he, is playing HALO (any part) or Call of Duty Black Ops online, make him stop! Seriously. I am a die hard gamer, I have been for most of my life, online gaming didn’t exist when I was thirteen, hell gaming barely existed back then, and the one thing I can’t stand is the high pitched squealing and supposedly funny remarks and stunts pulled by those-who-need-not-shave. Off course every player you meet online with these shooters must be at least 16 since that is the pegi rating, but I understand that there are some exceptions here and there.

The crazy things kids say (online while playing Halo Reach multiplayer, through their headsets, making my ears bleed)

Off course I can’t be expected to perform like the SPARTAN warrior I am online with distractions like this, hence the somewhat disappointing scores every 1 in 3 games.

There’s only one thing worse than kids forcing you to use the mute button… and that’s tea-bagging otherwise known as corpse humping or homo-erotic self gratification through nutsack-on-face-scrubbing. Totally unsympathetic it has actually made me quit a game because of the sheer annoyance factor, having been killed by someone who is probably half your age is humiliating enough, you don’t need to rub it in my face… no pun intended.

 I know it's asking a lot, but can we at least forbid kids to use headsets and promote the "teabagging is gay" statement, since most seem to be extremely homophobic anyway?

A ban on Christian fundamentalism and right winged extremism.

When a kid who listens to heavy metal walks into a school and kills dozens of schoolmates, it’s the music’s fault and voices cry out to have it banned and concerts are canceled.

When a guy who plays computer games murders people, voices call for a ban on computer games and games, intended for an adult audience by the way, get banned or censored down to Disney level.

Now when a Christian fundamentalist with right winged ideas goes on a killing spree... it’s quiet.

What happened in Norway is awful, a true horror, the scale of suffering this has caused is simply to terrible to be understood. Don’t get me wrong on my opinion in that regard. But with the terrible agony this has caused, I felt this small nudge in my side.

Now I am a lover of heavy metal Music (folk metal, black metal) amongst other sort of music. I am a neo-pagan, wearing a pentagram and all that. You are on a tarot site so I believe a certain interest in non traditional spirituality is a given… and on top of that I like computer games and horror movies as well. Without a doubt I would be on any conservative Christians shit list and be suspect to go out on one of those lone wolf killing sprees… if it wasn’t for one difference, I posses a certain amount of sanity and afore mentioned preferences and hobbies have precisely diddley squat to do with going out and killing people.

So every time one of those disturbed, sick to the core imbeciles decides to go on a spree and hit the news, I feel the noose tightening around my way of life, because in the same news broadcast we get told that it’s the fault of games, movies, music or other kinds of “evil”. Besides the fact that people fail to understand that certain content is made for adults and should only be played by, watched by or listened to by adults, watching today’s news alone gives any sensation junky an overdose of death, destruction and all-round misery. Watching CNN for an hour would drive me to violence long before HALO would.

But, let me at least be one of those to go for balance and show those so eager to ban the things I enjoy how it feels when your way of life is deemed evil and dangerous…

I hereby call out for a ban on Christianity and Right winged political ideology because it corrupts our children and obviously drives people to violence.
