soggy, lovey dovey romantic things

If you’re not into soggy, lovey dovey romantic things, skip this blog, you’ll like me less for it.

You know when you’re in love when all those stupid love songs start making sense. I know how that is, some years ago those songs started making sense to me when I fell in love with my beloved Janny, or Jasmine as most know her. After some time we married and I know that was the best decision ever because now, after three years of marriage those silly love songs are still making sense.

So how do I describe what she means to me, not an easy task. Clichés can hardly be avoided when I tell you how I feel. She completes me, she is my better half, without her life if there even was a life left to speak of would have been dull, flavorless and basically pointless.

She's brilliantly funny and brutally honest and though she has the talent to drive me up the wall, she barely uses it for anything else than my own benefit. She’s gorgeous and I have rarely seen a better combination of chest and behind in such a petite package to fit my taste. Her beauty blog is awesome, down to earth and taken from life, instead of the hidden advertisements many of such blogs are and through it rings the same honesty I so love about her. It is one of her many talents, all of which she denies having, to communicate to people like a real person. But it’s the way she looks at life, how she cares for people that makes her the one for me.

That's her

I’ve heard of studies proving men drop 10 or more points in IQ when they are around a woman they find attractive, well considering the complete idiot I am when I get home I consider it proven how much I’m into her. I could not have written this or any blog when she’s near… this is the one and only excuse I have for posting this a day late, well that and me being sick the days before. Yes our wedding anniversary was yesterday and I feel rotten for not having been able top mark the occasion with a huge celebration, a diamond bracelet and an evening out in the town. Though we haven’t done much to celebrate it to some amount of disappointment, because we are saving money for our vacation and castlefest the coming weeks, I at least want to take this opportunity to mark the occasion.

This is the first picture I saw of her, long before we met in person

I guess I will have to make it up to het by letting her buy lots of stuff at castlefest….

Off course every day I spend with her in my life is special and should be celebrated, the date 24 July (24/7 that’s twenty four hours a day, seven days a week we love each other, how’s that for an awesome marriage date?) will always be special, it’s the date we can say I officially became hers, and she officially became mine.

And we are a cute couple too!

If you want to know more about how we met and such, read the somewhat less cheerfull blogpost: thrice loved...
